We took the Tayron L north on a classic weekend run from Manila to Baguio: around 250 km via NLEX, SCTEX and TPLEX, then up Marcos Highway into the mountains.
On the expressway, adaptive cruise control and lane assist made the long stretch relaxed. Climbing into the Cordilleras, the 2.0 TSI engine and 7-speed DSG pulled cleanly through the switchbacks without fuss.
With five adults and luggage on board, the cabin stayed quiet and comfortable, and the wide cargo area swallowed everything plus a box of strawberries from La Trinidad for the trip home.
